Last Morning Postscript Please Read Me

The Last Morning in Haworth

The sky was a leaden grey, perhaps a portent of the weather to come. It was convenient for me to aim for mid-day travel, but there was still time to take a few more "parting shots" before breakfast. Haworth Village in the early morning looked strangely devoid of its holiday crowds, which, weather permitting, might throng its streets later in the day.

Clouds and mist hang over the valley. No brilliant sun rise today.

The main street is peaceful at this hour.

The shops and the "The Black Bull" are still closed.

This is a last look at "The White Lion" where I had been staying for the past two nights.

Postscript

Thank you again to all who made this away break such a success. The subsequent journey home via Leeds was reasonably uneventful, although the train to Kings Cross was a tad crowded. Overall, it was a relaxing few days away with a treasure trove of new impressions!
